WHAT IS TRULY…TEAMWORK?

Up to now, I can’t define “teamwork”, if we said “teamwork” means members in a group working together is not entirely correct. In an enterprise, “teamwork” is not only an ability to work between every member in a group or a department but also a combination between every department to create a strong collective. In general,

“Teamwork” can be understood as “Team Spirit”. Like a clock, “teamwork” has the same working principle.

When talking about the boss – who plays the role of winding and energizing other departments, maintaining energy, and making sure that they have enough data to work well. The boss also has to know the role of minute hand and hour hand, and know the value of each gear. Maybe you see your boss doesn’t do much but imagine that the clock without energy is really hard to work well. The boss doesn’t appear much but the level of influence is very large. The boss only needs the specific and measurable result, he/she doesn’t care about hơ you do it, like the surface of the clock only shows the minute hand and hour hand – doesn’t show the working principle => This is the result.

About the coordinator – the person who takes and replaces the role of the boss in their profession, the job of coordinator is to watch and keep members’ tempo in the best and stable performance. When the collective is in a “chaos” and “out of rhythm” situation, the coordinator helps the boss to solve it or at least to find out the core of the problem. A perfect boss is not a person who is good at doing everything but is a person who knows who can do what well, give the right job to that person, and trust that person. In clock structure, the coordinator is called “escapement” => This is the coordination.

Finally, talk about members in the group – each member is a gear, rotary axis, minute hand, hour hand. Need to understand, working in a group, not everyone has the same workload. Each person has a different capacity, professional, knowledge in their field combined to be a collective, everyone does his/her job, no comparisons, no division of work, focus on your own work and awareness of collective achievement is the final goal of this combination. => This is “effectiveness”
